so I got alternative “exe” and “dll file” replaced the old ones, and game will finally work, but the cut-scenes, music will don't work and the framerate and performance is horrible, so I used the dgvoodoo2 program and it not only fixed the performance and framerate issues but the cut scenes and the music issue working normally now. The installation was quick, but the original EXE will not work at all even with the compatibility setting changed, apparently the "d3drm.dll" file that come on the disc is outdated. My PC is pretty old a 32-bit system from 2010. Like everyone else I did follow the Rock Raiders community tutorial how on install it, yes before I used the patches I tried to see if the game will boot up at all. Thankfully I finally got this to work on my pc.
But this game was a fluke, it’s a really good game. this game is a very addicting real-time strategy game, made by “Data Design” which shocked me consider they’re infamous for making lots of god-awful shovelware garbage games on the PS2 and Wii like “Ninjabread Man” and “Anubis II”.
